“You are not allowed to change my PAST!” she growled at the man. “Why were you in my childhood!?” She called very annoyed
“I’m not TRYING to, Ang. You’re a time traveler, kinda hard to pinpoint WHEN you left your mother!” He replied, folding his arms and giving her a pointed look.
“Annie and Angie are meant to be separated. And the last person I want you to talk to is Kastille. You think Logan is scary? Think again.” she glared. “She already knows I run away and hates it. Please… Same rules as Logan…” She took his hand.
“Same rules as Logan? Woman, you have no clue what Logan is capable of, alright? You caught him while he was living with Holmes, which is a good thing because Holmes keeps him calm, lucky for you. Had you gone looking for him anywhere else, you wouldn’t be so worried about getting a little bullet stuck in your shoulder.” Why was he defending his father? Especially on ‘who was scarier’ terms? Shawn wasn’t sure, but he felt like his man hood had been threatened. “Ang, chill. Your mom won’t do anything to me, I’m pretty sure I know how to handle her.”
She was taken back by being called woman and even offended. Whats more he was comparing any potential pain to the that was dealt to her for defending what she believed. She raised her hand and slapped his cheek.
“You will never call me that again or treat my wounds like nothing. I was shot trying to protect a child just like Zel, and just like me. And that child is dead now because I wasn’t strong enough to save him…” she spoke tears forming in her eyes.
His head moved slightly after the hit, and he chewed the inside of his cheek. Nostrils flaring for a moment, he let himself calm down before he went feral and stormed out. Handle this like a gentlemen, not an animal. Slowly, he moved his eyes back to her. Yes, he had stepped out of line, but she crossed her boundaries first. To Shawn, nothing compared to Logan; he was the scariest, bravest, toughest thing in the world, and Angie challenged that. That was the first time he actually realized that.
“Give me a name...” He growled, his voice quiet, laced with venom. “And I swear to you, the child will be avenged.” Really, he just needed to kill something and starting with an Human activist and child murderer seemed like a great idea.
She shook her head tears shaking free from her eyes. “No more loss or death…” she spoke hugging him suddenly. Despite her anger at him, she still felt the guilt of hurting someone. She hated the idea of harming some one. Shawn was special to her. She knew this. “I’m sorry for hitting you… I won’t see Logan again… ” She spoke in a small voice holding him tightly. As if it wasn’t just a slap, but a gunshot to the face.
“You are not allowed to change my PAST!” she growled at the man. “Why were you in my childhood!?” She called very annoyed

“I’ll drop it for the time being, but I swear I will find this guy.” He hissed, folding his arms over his chest as he watched her start up the ladder. Why couldn’t she just tell him? Probably because she knew he’d run off and quickly make sure the guy ended up six feet under, either alive or dead. Sighing, he turned his head as he heard the kid wake up and then start crying. Uh oh.
“I really… Yeah, I’ll go.” He sighed again, unfolding his arms and making down the hall. “Hey, runt. Hey...” Slowly, his voice got softer the closer he got. “It’s okay. Angie’s getting you something a little more comfortable than a nest of pillows.”
The child continued to cry twisting trying to get attention.
Angelina was walking in the attic trying to remember where she put the thing. She knew that it was near the back. She could hear Zeleni crying still. “You need to rock him back to sleep!” she called to the room below her.
“I- Jesus…” Leaning closer, he gently picked the child up, breathing quietly as he steadied his hands, making sure to cradle kids head. Jesus, it was frailer than he first expected it to be… “Hey… Relax, runt.”
Slowly, he swayed side to side, rocking the baby gently as Angie had instructed, his voice low and soft.
Slowly the cries turned to whimpers as he looked up at the strange man holding him.
Angelina finally found the crib and began moving boxes to the side. She smiled at it glad to see it in great shape. She grabbed it and began to bring it to the attic entrance. She pursed her lips realizing she couldnt get down with it. She looked at the one on her wrist. She promised him not to use it unless and emergency. She had to wait until he made hers. She shook her head.
“Zel needs a crib,” she reasoned. She held the wooden crib and pressed a few buttons sending her to her room holding the crib. “Tada! On Crib for my Green Eyed Love.”
